Grades
ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ uses Veracross as our web-based student information system (SIS) and Google Classroom as our learning management system (LMS). All students and families receive log-in codes and have access to Veracross Student and Parent Portals (), and students can access their class pages and assignments in Google Classroom by navigating to and logging in with their IAA Google account credentials. Grades, comments, and attendance are posted regularly, and can be accessed 24 hours a day in Veracross Portals. Families may also opt in to receive Guardian Email Summaries from Google Classroom, which provide regular automated updates detailing missing work, upcoming assignments, and class activity not viewable in the Veracross Parent Portal.
Due to the accessibility of grade information throughout the school year through Veracross, we do not mail grade reports home. It is expected that all students and families regularly check their Veracross Portals to monitor progress. However, the School will email students and families to notify them when mid-semester Progress Reports and Semester-End Grade Reports are available to view in Veracross.
Veracross Portals also contains a directory of faculty contact information. Families are encouraged to reach out directly to individual teachers with questions about class assignments, materials, grades, or attendance records. Please contact attendance@idyllwildarts.org, if attendance questions remain after speaking directly with the teacher.
Veracross Portals are valid and active throughout the student’s years of attendance at ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ and do not need to be reactivated each year. Please contact our IT Department, ithelp@idyllwildarts.org, if you have trouble logging in or the Registrar, registrar@idyllwildarts.org, if you have questions regarding how to use your IAA account or Google Classroom.
Transcripts
Academy transcripts are generated upon request for students applying to colleges, universities, conservatories, other post-secondary schools, summer programs, and other institutions requiring grade and enrollment documentation. Transcript requests for currently-enrolled 12th graders and post-graduate students should be directed to the College Counseling Office, rkandel@idyllwildarts.org. Please email the Registrar, registrar@idyllwildarts.org, for all other transcript requests. Please provide a full address and indicate to whose attention the transcript should be sent. Families may make these requests for students under age 18; students age 18 and older must make the requests themselves and must provide identification if not using their ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ email account. Â
