This fast-paced workshop explores surface design through mark-making, glazes, slips, and vinyl masking techniques. Students will bring bisqued work, make new pieces, and load and fire a soda kiln mid-week alongside lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Open to all skill levels.

Instructor: Natalia Arbelaez In this sculptural workshop, we will build reusable wooden armatures for figures, animals, and zoomorphic forms. We will also explore modular building techniques for larger, more accessible sculptures using basic techniques such as coil, slab, and solid construction.
Instructor: Michael Kline Explore expressive ceramic surfaces through brushwork, stamping, and inlay. Emphasizing brushwork on clay, participants experiment with line, botanical imagery, pattern, and layered slips, discovering how thoughtful surface treatments can enrich, animate, and transform ceramic forms through playful, hands-on exploration.
